This was an experiment that turned out to be so lovely.

I combined Rose Hip Seed Oil, Mango Butter, Shea Butter, and Frankincense Boswellia carteri resin infused in coconut oil and a wee bit of my rose buds herbal infusion and whipped it all to make this beautiful cream. I added arrow root powder so it is not greasy.

Rose Hip Seed Oil is derived from the rosa canina rose bush, which is grown mostly in Chile. Unlike rose oil, rose hip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose bush.

Rose-hip seed oil is commonly used to heal or smooth the skin.

This oil acts as an antioxidant, a substance that protects your cells against damage and disease. Rose-hip help repair your skin after sun damage and can even reverse signs of aging caused by too much sun.

Rose-hip oil or cream may help treat acne caused by clogged skin pores.

Rose-hip Seed Oil is rich in polyphenols and anthocyanin, which are known for their anti-inflammatory effect which is excellent for any type of skin problem.

Unrefined Shea Butter

Rose Buds infused in FCO. I add this infusion mostly because some people do not like the smell of organic unrefined Shea butter. It is also very calming to ones skin.

Frankincense Boswellia carteri resin herbal infusion in FCO (fractionated coconut oil)

This resin is excellent for any type of skin conditions, so it rounds out the entire blend.

It is anti-inflammatory which makes it excellent for dermatitis, eczema or acne.

Put it all together you are getting a wonderful creme for your hands, face and feet.
