Boswellia sacra grows in the mountainside of Oman. It is named after the Hajar Mountains, It is also called Hojari. The environment of this region affects the chemistry of the sacra making it wonderful for incense and burning. This resin contains Boswellic Acid and high amounts of alpha-pinene, It is called The Frankincense of Kings because it is believed this resin was presented to the infant Jesus.
This resin has a yellowish tinge. When it is fresh it is almost white, but as it sits it can turn deeper yellow. It is used in drinking water to add aromatic fragrance to the water.
It is one of the resins that actually taste good, so you can make a tea and sit back and relax.
“Boswellia sacra is cherished for its naturally soothing, comforting qualities and its ability to help the skin appear calm, balanced, and well‑nourished. It also creates a beautifully aromatic sacra water and a rich, elegant herbal infusion.”
My goal is to sell quality resins at an affordable price. Some of you know me as the Queen of Resins because of the knowledge I have from constantly studying these resins and the friendships I have created with those who sell and harvest these beautiful trees.
These resins are harvested by Fair Trade Standards only.
