Boswellia papyrifera- from Sudan

from $25.00

This is beautiful Frankincense Boswellia papyrifera from Sudan

Boswellia papyrifera is a species of flowering plant native to Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sudan. It has a lemony pine scent. The resin is semi-translucent like yellow tears.

Boswellia papyrifera can be distinguished from other types of Frankincense by the presence of large amounts of octyl acetate and octanol. It also has two other unusual and unique chemical markers — incensole and incensole acetate. Studies have shown that incensole acetate affects the central nervous system and has psychoactive properties.

Because Boswellia papyrifera has psychoactive properties, many people burn it for its calming effect.

Also something very interesting I found with this resin

It may help support a steadier, more relaxed feeling in the body, especially for those whose hands shake. I have this and when i put some of this on my hands stop shaking for a few hours. Also when I burn it, it does the same thing when i inhale the smoke.

Boswellia papyrifera contains Boswellic acid.

In addition to burning it as an incense, it can be made into lotions and salves or infused in a carrier oil.

I suggest you purchase the resin and purchase one of my serums to see if it works for you, then you can make your own infusion, since it takes 60 days to pull all the good therapeutic properties out into the carrier oil.
