Suggested Use

The Boswellia carteri 1st grade Boswellic Acid Extract Powder is the biomass left over after the distillation of the resin. The Boswellic Acid which is a chemical cannot come through the distillation and is only in this biomass. The biomass is dried to remove all the water than ground to a powder with a special mesh grinding machine.

This study was done on Boswellia serrata, but Boswellia carteri extract actually contains more AKBA than B. serrata does and future studies will be soon be done on this other resin. Serratta was used in a lot of studies because the actual resin is less expensive to get to distill to get the aftermass then carteri. More studies need to be done on B carteri and we are researching and working on this also. But this study shows promise for AKBA which is in both resins.

What is very interesting B. serrata contains less than 20% BA in the raw form and with a solvent up to 65% BA, while carteri in the raw form using 1st grade resin is 30-35% BA and 70% with an organic solvent. Imagine what can be done with greater amounts of BA.

Frankincense Boswellia sacra Boswellic Acid Extract Powder- Special Price

This is the resin once it has been distilled. They call it the after mass or after boil.
This mass is left over on the bottom of the still. This mass when it dries becomes solid. This one has been dried and turned into a fine powder
All the Boswellic Acid is left in the aftermass. The molecules in it are too heavy to come through the distillation to the essential oil and hydrosol.

This powder has approximately 17%-18% BA in it. Due to weather conditions in Oman and the trees being stressed, the percentage of Ba in the powder is less but using it topically for joint and muscle pain it still works.

I only have a small amount and once it is gone I will not get anymore in so I am giving it to you at an excellent price,  I am also offering it at 1kg (2.2lbs) at a major reduced price.

This extract is so easy to use. 1 Tsp it into 8 oz of carrier oil and allow it to infuse for 2 weeks then strain, you will barely have anything to strain. The after mass has a different smell than the whole resin. It has more of a nutty smell and can be used in your perfume blends and also for any type of pain blends. It can also be used all by itself. It is quite strong.
